looking for a budget minded BOV, looking for recommendations. as this is my first turbo build i was wondering differences between BOV is a certians tyle louder than another? or better? or?

 

I like the ebay BOV's...no way am I spending $300 on any simple vacuum actuated diaphram valve when a $50 part will suffice.

 

RPS is a good affordable one. I have one, haven't used it yet. KB sells them with his kits. As for sound, most just make a whoooooshh sound. Not sure what style makes the chirping sound but I think they sound dumb.

 

i bought a 50mm bov from wyntonm on ebay.. pretty good up till now, and its the chirping type.. paid like 50 or 60 bucks..

 

My rps 50mm is working perfectly. Its only $100

what style do i need? i know theres a recurculating type, which i belive is not what i want? dual port, ive seen several diffent kinds in this aspect

 

recuculating type you speak of is probably a bypass valve. they're usually used on factory cars to put the excess air back into the intake. I like the RPS that kbracing sales.
