should be b4 maf and if your intercooled you should have it b4 the intercooler because ... 1- if you have it after your venting your cool air and what to be venting your hot air out... 2- by venting after your intercooler your making your intercooler work harder by cooling more air causing it to heat up more. ( well atleast in a supercharged set up anyway, not sure if the same rules apply for turbos with there waste gates. i still would want to vent the hotter air not cool air )

 

a bov before the maf is for blow through systems correct? is the turbo 5.3 setup a draw though or a blow through system?

 

I would be willing to bet you have a draw system, in that case it would be stupid to move your bov before the maf.

The only time I ever see a 5.3 is in my rear view mirror anyway, so I don't know where it's maf is off the top of my head.
