the new 4.8 motors are "supposed" to be 295 crank HP.

Yea 295 At Crank,shoot My 2000 5.3 Had 285 At Crank...

You're going to be impressed at the difference in how it drives around even at part throttle. The Radix and a 4.8L are an excellent match. I agree that you should drive it for a bit on the stock programming from Magnacharger. Often people change too much at once and if a problem arises they don't know what caused the problem due to too many variables. Before adding more power you should put a shift kit in the trans. I'm guessing you'll make close to 350RWHP and considerably more torque. Joe and Brian will take care of you well.
