Hi guys I'm new here and i want to turbo my 2000 silverado with a 5.3 and i was considering a borg warner EFR 9180 t4 internal waste gate it saids its good for 1000 hp so lmk what u guys think thk u for your opi,ions or suggestion

 

I do not know anyone running that turbo. It looks long to me, and you might run into issues with getting the downpipe away from the AC line. I would personally stick with the S475 or S480 and run a log manifold like what Trick casts or KB racing can build.

 

Sup guys so i end up buying a gt 42r garrett. intercooler kit 60pound injectors turvo smart wg and eps turbo cam kit
I think i'm going with tricks manifold kit soon haha

 

smart move sticking to a proven and common turbo kit.


Those efr turbos look amazing and produce excellent results. New Era loves them but I havent seen anyone else really use them.
