Curious to see what kind of IAT's everyone sees. At cruising speed and on WOT runs

usually about 5-10 over ambient, unless im hammering it, then i see about 20-25 over.

edit: intercooler is a 31x12x3, running 15psi. I havent run my truck in anything over 70 degrees ambient yet either.

65* Ambient cruise 95* to 105*
WOT in a 1/4mile I ran a 12.7 with ambient at 55*. My IAT start was 100* at the end it was 165*. You can raise the ambient temp to around 70ish and my finish IAT will still be around 165ish. Larger Hxr. After 75* ambient, a wot run will start to warm up some more.

I have a radix, as you know, IAT sensor is in the manifold. Aluminum.

****EDIT***thunder brings up a good point...meth
my #'s are without meth and I am at 9psi.

At what level of boost? On a WOT run in 3rd gear, I saw a 34 degree increase. From 68 degrees to 102. Thats at 12-13 psi of boost.
At cruise speed I see 6-10 degrees above outside temp.

I am usually 30-35* over ambient while cruising, then I can get up to 150-160* on a WOT run with 50/50 water/meth at about 8.5 psi on a 2.8 Radix pulley.

With no intercooler, here is the bad news......

65* ambient @7psi WOT in 1/4 mile i see 220*

I will have my intercooler on in a few weeks, i will report back......

where is your IAT sensor? with 68* is it safe to assume the MAF?

Im assuming you're talking supercharger talk.. On my wifes non-intercooled STS, we normally see about 120-130 when cruising and can sometimes peak all the way to 145-150 when the ambient is about mid 90's

If his sensor was in the MAF, the the MAF would have to be downstream of the blower to see an increase in temp. under boost.
