So not only am i running the lowest boost but also the lowest shot....

And its 5psi crackerhead..

Im running my setup on a WOT switch and arm switch.. When i had the vacuum brakes and couldnt get boost off the line i would hold the rpms as high as i could before it started pushing through the front brakes. When it went WOT it would hit.. and hit hard.

i posted up not too long ago about our local 500' track.
7.9@71 2.3 60' on 5psi
7.0@80 2.0 60' on 5psi and 50 shot at 10.8AFR.


Now with hydroboost i can get 4psi by brake boosting it. Goin to see what it will do at the track now. Also should have my 65# injectors so up goes the boost if i can ever get my Wideband working again.

 

Just curious. Why not just turn the boost up?

 

My injectors are maxed out and without spray it would take till 3000rpms before i got in full boost.. with the 50 shot i could hit it off the line and it would load the engine up and get full boost as soon as it sprayed.

Now with hydroboost i can get boost off the line so ill see what it will do without spray now..

 

In current weather I have 11lbs of boost off the blower and hit it with a 30/30 2 stage. I tried a 50/30, but broke the tires loose on my 4x4 during the launch, but it netted me my best 1.592 60' to date. Colder air is coming soon and my boost should be back at 13.5-14psi. I'm thinking that I'll stick with my 30/30 shot.

 

Maybe someday. But more like a 50 shot, stock motor, @ 9 psi
