I'm with Pat on this, I don't see the need to run an aftermarket (unless you needed an SFI balancer). I run a stock one on mine without issues. If you wanted added protection you could always pin it.
If you have your heart set on an aftermarket one or want an underdrive one, powerbond is another option. I had an overdrive powerbond and it was great.

there are legit reasons to run a aftermarket damper, especially if you spin some nice rpm, use 2 step or have a built motor
if you go off rule book you do need a SFI one after a certain ET number

I broke a stock one on the dyno with a turbo. It was one of the earlier ones (99-03 I think) that are slightly thinner on the struts. Replaced it with another stock one though.
