Default Boost without meth?

Hey guys, I'm working on a new project with a lot of left over parts. It's a 98 s10 with a stock lq4 swap, ls1 intake, ls6 cam and good valve springs, 255 pump, 60lb injectors and a intercooled rear mounted MP70 turbo. So far I have it running 8-9psi on 93 octane, 11.5 a/f with 15 degrees of timing.

I have never ran my big truck without meth so my question is how far can I push this thing without meth. I did a bunch of searches but couldn't find much since most people run meth now. Can I get away with 12psi and 16-17 degrees of timing as long as I watch my Iat's?

My plan is to put in a second 255 pump, meth, and a built trans with a yank sst3200 this summer so I can max out this little turbo but for now I just want to keep the motor together.

You would be fine on 12psi and 16*. Just make sure your fuel system can keep up. I run 14psi on just pump 93 with no meth

Can't get e85 around here unless I order it by the barrel and this is going to be my daily driver. I think my fuel system is only going to last me to about 10-11psi the way it is now. Right now I have a corvette fuel filter with the built in regulator on it. I'm going to change over to a truck intake with return rails and a second 255 pump like my silverado this summer. I guess I will have to be happy around 10psi for now. The truck weighs 3,600lbs with me in it so it pretty fun even at this boost level. Should be making close to 500rwhp.

Ya I would wait to push it till the fuel system is up to the task. Could always throw in a single walbro 400, that should do ya fine.
