Keep it simple, what I run and one of if not the best manual controllers out there. Hallmans Pro.

Pro does not, but if you want to be hardcore I'm sure the cockpit version would work. I've seen it installed in Evo's and those guys seem to love them.

Spring in the wastegate will only matter once you max the controller out. Install the controller first, then if you need more swap springs.

Really cuz my hallman every half turn is a pound once I get off the spring. Keep turning it till you start gaining.

It depends on the spring. My setup spring only makes about 10psi, 5 turns of the HBC gives me 15psi. If your spring makes 5psi, 5 turns would give you 7.5psi. And Josh, the spring needs some amount of preload before it starts doing anything. From fully unscrewed, my controller takes like 2.5 turns before boost goes up.

I just ordered a cockpit control for my HBC, I'll post up some pics when I get it

Like smokeshow said, keeo turning till you hit that sweet spot. Once that happens I get around 1psi for one full turn. I had to turn it around 4/5 full turns before it started to rise. They are great controllers for the money. My buddy runs around 30psi with his..
