Default boost and Meth

So I am running a F1A 282 gen 1 with a accel DFI. Running about 10lbs for now. I have a snow performance stage2 kit I was just wondering when you guys are starting to spray. right now I have it comming in around 6 and full by 10. MY AFR's whith out meth under boost are pretty rich around 11.2.

I am going to a 4 " pulley from a 4.75 and was wondering if I should start the meth a little sooner, right now I am making 11lbs by 5k

thanks guys

depends on your driving habbits I guess. Mine's set to come on ~5lbs and full ~7lbs. My afr remains fairly constant ~11.7

I had mine start to come on at 5lbs and full by 7. Personally I think it is a waste to have it come on any sooner. Think of it this way, if you ran 4lbs max boost, would you even think of running meth? I don't believe it has any benefit until you are over 5psi. Also you don't go through nearly as much if you start it a little higher, 1 gal. lasted me a little over a month, and I drive "spirited." Some people might have different personal preferences, not saying I am right or they are wrong, thats just what works for me.

I agree, and I've tried it coming on at 3lbs and now at 5.

I appreciate the info, right now I am running a 4.75 pulley so most of the time I see 4-5 lbs of boost on a daily basis, thus never spraying. these are 3rd gear get on the freeway pulls not ***** out. once I get the 4.0" and the new 12 rib belt i think thoes same times I am seeing 4-5 i will be seeing a bit more and sooner. I will keep it as is for now and see what the truck likes. I have to be a bit careful right now as I am still running the stock 10bolt in the rear, saving up for a moser 9"
