Default boost loss......

I finished up my FMIC over the weekend and just drove it today to and from work. At WOT Im only getting 4-5lbs of boost now as opposed the the 10-11 I got with no IC and meth. The only welded parts I didnt coat in JB weld after welding them (I used flux cored and it always seems to leave timy little holes) where the 2 90* bends used to get the pipe to the IC and back into the engine bay. After finishing these, I took them into the closet and stuck a flashlight inside them and rotated them around to look for light seeping through. There were maybe 1 or 2 ever so slight spots. Could these little spots be leaking all that boost or should I look elsewhere??
Thanks

The only way to weld aluminum for your application is with a tig set-up. Those few small leaks you are seeing are telling you there's more in there somewhere. Don't use JB Weld to seal it up, it might break loose and do REAL damage.

I would get it Tig welded also. Aluminum really doesnt like anything else but tig. You probably wont have many choices on where you can take it to get it done due to the high cost of the machine and finding someone who can actually walk the cup good will be difficult to find.

Piping is steel. There is only 1 piece that is aluminum and it is connected with couplers.

Thats kind of what I thought. but I have almost all t bolt clamps and Ive got them on there pretty tight. I'll try tightening them, but Im afraid that I'll collapse the pipe if I really get in there and tighten them any more. Any ideas as to where else to look. I will say this.... it hauls *** for only showing 4lbs of boost. It broke the tires loose rolling into it tonight. The tires are 285/50. Could it be the gauge?? I have the boost gauge and blowoff T from the vacuum line on the drivers side Fuel pressure reg or brake booster . This is where I had it setup before. I did use bigger tubing to the blowoff and had to use zipties to really get the bypass on there but that wouldnt affect the boost gauge. The blowoff is working fine.

Its weird. I didnt touch the boost line. All I did was disconnect the old line from the T and replace it with new line. I went out and tightened all of the T bolt clamps. Some werent on very tight. Im going to take out the bottom pipes going to the IC on Fri when I have some time and grind down the entire weld seam to expose bare metal and then go over the entire seam with a little JB weld and hope that fills in any tiny pin holes and then recoat them.

thats the weird thing. Maybe Im just excited but I swear it feels much more powerful. I havent even hooked up my meth kit yet and I havent raised my timing either. I had 10-11# with meth and it feels faster and stronger now. Also it has been 90* plus for the last several weeks and today it was 60* It never was like this on the 6# in came out of the box with
It'll climb up to 4 and then stay there. Before it was a race to 10-11 psi, now its a leisurely stroll. There has to be a few leaks somewhere.

You could use pressure taps at various spots throughout the system. Mainly right before and after the IC. Hopefully you'll find the culprit before you have to result to this but....
