Default Boost gauge question

Is is worth spending the extra money on an electrical boost gauge or is a mechanical one sufficient? Thanks in advance

Is the install pretty straight forward or should I pay to have it done to ensure accurancy?

I was in the same boat with ya. All the info I have come up with is that there is a nipple on the back of the intake to put the line there. I would think you could tap anywhere into the manifold thow, after the throttle body...
