The cooler air in the evenings has motivated me to force more of it into the little 5.3
After the 3 psi I lost when I installed my cam, I've ordered a 3.1 pulley from Nelson today. It ran so well at 9 psi earlier. Hope it will again. Gonna drop down the belt size this time also.
Am I to optimistic in thinking 3psi should net me a couple tenths reduction in ET?

I would think it would be worth that or a little more.

With a 3.25 pulley before the cam I would see up to 9 psi boost at shift points. I now see 6psi. Where it went and what specifically with the cam caused it, I don't know. My ET's dropped from 14.3's to 13.6's with the new cam and TM removed even at 6psi.

I see that your cam has 4* advance ground in it, I assume you installed it straight up though right?
What springs are you running? Is there any belt dust on the pulleys? Have you hooked up a different boost/vac gauge at all to see if its your guage? 3psi is sure a big diff. from a cam like that.
