Mech says he didn't check for that, but plenty labor $ to do it, as the only way to tell is to pull it. Wudn't it make some noise at least if it was slipping? If it was slipping enuf to lose 4 psi, it must be having some effect on the balancer, no? Whats in the way that makes it so hard to get to? R/

Not hard to get too there.

What do you have done to the exhaust other than the long tubes? The long tubes and a free flowing exhaust would drop boost a bit too.

LT's with high flow cats, Magnaflow Cat back....but its been this way since day #1 as they were all installed at once and spec'ed with Mag before we installed it. R/

Not necessarily. Its probably slipping when you hit the gas, which is when the blower, engine, exhauast etc. is the loudest. It doesn't take that long to do at all. It takes longer to pull the fan and shroud off.

Use the search button for info on pinning the crank. Try LS1TECH's search as well.

How could the pulley slip on the crank that much? Wouldn't it weld itself to the crank in short order?
