Default Blown Chevy... L92 question...

... I'm pretty sure Magnuson is working on this already but I'm wondering if you have any idea as to when they will come out with an L92 compatible lower intake... one that will work with my upper. I understand the 07's and up will probably run a jack shaft setup and I can't remember if the current lower intakes are the same across all GENIII apps. Bottom line is I want to consider the L92 heads for my future forged bottom end and would like to know what kind of options I will have. Note the 122/90mm upgrade will already be in place before I swap motors. Planning ahead for the future

from what I understand there will be a blower manifold for it. Unfortunetly if they do switch to a jackshaft setup for L92 stuff (ala SSR) your current setup won't work.

Best bet would be to go with regular GENIII heads like the edelbrocks WCCH offers and the 122 upgrade when it's available.

otherwise you may be in for a complete system swapout

I was thinking if the lower manifolds were the same with existing kits (GENNIII truck and car) then perhaps the lower L92 compatible intake might be compatible with my existing setup... or MP122 retro for that matter. What my intention was... was to upgrade in steps... MP122 first along with my 90mm and pulley up until I build a longblock. Asking about whether or not a compatible L92 lower would help guide me in the direction I take... without spending too much money twice. If you think the L92 lower will not be compatible with my current upper setup then, yes, it does limit my options to current GENIII aftermarket offerings.
