Blower or Turbo
#5
Do you want the power at high rpms (racing) or low rpms (towing, daily driving)? Although there is some overlap, it basically breaks down like this:
Low RPM power: Roots or twin screw blower (Magnacharger, Kenne Bell, Whipple)
High RPM power: centrifugal blower (ProCharger)
Mid RPM power: Turbo (Squires)
Low RPM power: Roots or twin screw blower (Magnacharger, Kenne Bell, Whipple)
High RPM power: centrifugal blower (ProCharger)
Mid RPM power: Turbo (Squires)

Also be cognizant of where the power is desired. If you want off-idle power (1000-3000 RPM), you should go with a twin-screw or roots style blower (i.e. Whipple, Radix). If you want top-end power (3000-6000 RPM), a turbo or centrifugal blower (i.e. Procharger) is what you should consider.
My driving habits determined my choice. I seldom ventured into 5000 RPM territory, so a turbo or centrifugal would have been a waste. Once I realized this, the choice was easy - I ended up getting a Radix.

I thought there were issues with power adders for '02 & up Dodge applications due to Dodge not sharing technology that is needed for development of tuning software...

Just got off the hook with Procharger. They do have kit it is in the final testing stages should be out in the next 30-60 days to the dealers. Obviously can't give you guys projected pricing or anything because I am not a supporting vendor so I respect that here. However.. they did say that the entire dodge line is going to be quite efficent and its been making really good numbers so it might be somethin for the dodge guys to hang out for.
Just my info for the day. Hope that helps.
