Stay with what you have until its done for then start fresh, no need to waste a good engine. I'd say test that GT-91 on engine and see what it can do before doing anything, but on the other hand you know that you can never get enough boost Welcome to the Madness and this is where I ended

It's not that just if they are factory l92 heads the deck is a little thin for big boost. It might hold tho what casting are they?

Yeah they would be factory castings. V502, that is very impressive! I like that!

How much boost will a LS2 block handle with aftermarket cylinder heads?
I'm thinking of just throwing this GT91 on the forged LS2 I have now. How bad am I going to hate that? A nice LSX block with 6 bolt heads will top 15K. I don't know if I need that much for a mostly street truck. Maybe I have too much turbo? I would like to stroke this thing but also want it to be reliable. I'm putting 16-17 psi to the block now with no issues. I'm worried about the trans holding up to anymore too. It is a built RPM trans with billet output shaft. It has work flawless too. Would like to have it freshened and maybe converter re-stalled. Freshen up this engine with thicker deck heads and see what happens.

Theres a guy around here who pushed 25psi and a 100 shot on top of his. It finally caught up with him this summer, after a few years of abuse. I say go for it bet it'll work out fine.

I know of a guy running a LS2 402 with L92 heads and over 1000rwhp and no problems. Seems to be all in the tune.
