Default The Best Supercharger For the 4,8L

Okay my buddy has a 2003 Chevy 4.8L, I want to know from your experiences, which blower is the best for this application. Of course we have the stock tranny etc. I am not impressed with the kenne bell blower, its a side mounted roots blower They should have desinged an intake manifold to directly accept the blower, and they still don't have an intercooler out yet... So who makes the best roots and who makes the best centrifical blower. I want a kit that is pretty complete, injectors, intercooler, etc... Also, the motor will be built down the road soon so we don't want a blower that will not max out at only 8lbs... If you guys have any experience with any companys like vortech, manga, whipple, etc and whoes makes the most power just bolting it on let me know! btw the budget is under 7grand and its not a daily driver.

Sorry for the long post, thanks so much Mark Tisdale

I love my radix. I feel that i'll be pushing 470+rwhp/500rwtq when I get my intake air temps down.

The radix is the intercooled set up with the MP112 compressor.

Why are you guys so dead set on a supercharger anyway? I'm just curious.

for the 4.8L, the radix would be my first choice. they need the low end torque the radix will provide from it's ability to build boost like now.
