Different strokes for different folks, I'm just curious at to why they'd SC a 4.8 with 7000 to spend. You'd be far ahead if you built a stroker motor.

a 408 in it's place would certainly make for alot more room for future mods and be about as quick.

Okay fellas heres the deal, he is only wanting to spend under 7gs on the blower, then down the road build either a 383, 402 or whatever stroker cubic in. We are not going to build the 4.8L... Also 7gs on a ls1 stroker motor... we would spend more than that, unless we did a cheap stroker build..

I think he may get the magan radix, but I worried about how wild teh new motor will be, the radix may be maxed out... So procharger is not out of the question..

I was just answering the man's question on superchargers. I'd have a Livernois if I was to do it all over again. I didn't know they existed when I bought my radix. On the other hand... with 7k to spend I'd have a 364-408 and a Livernois!
