My taylor 10.4mm wires lasted 5yrs I think, directly touching the "hump" on the old style dynatechs. Thinking about replacing them with the same, and using some sort of heat shield to protect them...which was on the list long ago, whoops

Make a bracket to hold the wire away from the header.
I did this, and my MSD wires with heat sleeves work great.
I cant take credit for this though, either Nonieselman or another member here did this.
I would like to try those wires that Blownchevy sells next time.

im sure theres really no hp gain with the wires on these motors being so short. i honestly sprung for the taylors bc they were the thickest i could find and i knew clearance with the headers was gonna be an issue. so far im really happy cause they still look great. and they're red lol, but stockers with a shield woulda done the same job
