Truck size, what stall speed converter do you have or plan to run?

That cam would work well, myself I prefer something with a bit more exhaust bias and a 113-114lsa. I like -1 to -8 overlap on TVS's, that Triple X is -5 so....That is allot of converter for a TVS as you are going to miss out on allot of the low end that it will create. Typically I would not suggest a cam that big in a 5.3 but with your stall speed it will be ok. How high do you plan to spin the motor?

FYI the Trucker cam is a proven performer, allot of guys have ran it with great results.

I am partial to the tried and true GT2-3. Has a mid and top end that always puts a smile on my face, but drives and idles like stock.

IMO that cam is a bit on the large size if that is your planned Peak RPM, you could drop the duration a bit lower and bring the power curve down so you can actually use more of it. Check out the trucker cam.

The GT2-3 is another popular cam, myself I am not a huge fan of it as the intake duration is really low and I prefer a bit more overlap to keep cyl. pressures in check. A GT2-3 will have a stockish to almost smoother then stock idle and should yield good fuel economy, however your 3600 converter is way overkill for it IMO.
