Default back to my roots...

Which maker is a better deal...

Maggie or Kenne Bell?

From what I can gather, the KB seems to be a bit more efficient, and put out a little more power, but customer service leaves something to be desired. However, the Maggie puts out very satisfying power, comes as a complete kit and is fairly easy to install.

I am looking to put 500 to the wheels of an AWD SSS with a 6L bored .030 over and factory heads (stage 3). Which blower will make that happen for me?

I'd suggest a Magnacharger with the 122 head unit...I don't have any experience with KB but Magnacharger's customer service is top notch, and you have your very own rep here on the site to answer (quickly) any question you might have....BlownChevy. Doesn't get much better than that IMO.

I personally am in favor of the ProCharger. Im not a centrifugal man myself but the numbers are pretty impressive to me. About a 60% gain on like 7 PSI out of the box.

500 to the wheels can be had with the magnacharger. I'm going to make an educated guess and say that the magnacharger unit has a whole bunch more R&D time and money involved than the kennebell. The KB unit for our trucks looks more like a spinoff from their corvette's kit. It doesn't seem to be designed as well as the magnacharger kit.

I thought about the centrifugals, but I want the INSTANT gratification. I don't want the lag, although minimal as it is. Plus, I have no interest in revving any higher than 6000, ever. I know that this is a dream, but I want this motor to last (conservative tune, not pushing the motor to the limit, things like that). The maggie seems a better choice for my intent.

Let me ask you this...whats easier on the motor (over the long term)...500 at the wheels through PSI only or lower the PSI (425 at the wheels) and nitrous when I want it?

option 2. Less PSI and strain on ur motor constantly. And then with the nitro its that extra 75 hp 4 if u REALLY need to show off or just wanna enjoy the drive home from work time to time.
