Default ATI damper crank pinning

Just wondering if anyone has pinned a crank for an ATI Super Damper while motor is in the truck and how difficult it is. Thanks.

I have, It's not that bad. Just take your time or you will snap the drill bit like I did.

It seemed like the bit wasn't cutting any more and I pulled it out to clean and inspect and then put it back in. I tried to put some more force on it and that's when I snapped the bit. I am not sure if the bit went dull or if I hit a hard spot in the crank snout.

Also I wanted to make sure the Pin was inline with the factory key way incase I needed to service the crank and pull the timing set gear.

No problem! There is an industrial Hardware store in the area that had a similar long drill bit and I was able to finish the job with only a slight delay. There bit seemed to cut better and I drilled almost all the way through the old sacrificial bolt.
