I'm going to try changing to a different softer spring next. I can deal with a boost problem, as long as I know what the problem is. It's not terribly cold here, but enough that I really don't want to work outside too much. I've got about a month before MMP opens to get this lined out.

Thanks

I did try a yellow spring for a while and the boost seemed to max out around 5.5 psi. The performance fell off considerably and I changed back to the red spring after a short while. While the yellow spring dropped max boost off to the expected 5-6 psi range, it seemed to bleed boost too soon and performance suffered a lot.

I was fine for fuel, on the red spring, with the walbro in-line 255lph and 44 lb/hr racetronix injectors. I don't think my IDC got over 100% at 12 psi on the stock engine and 68 - 70 psi fuel pressure with the fuel rail FPR. I see you have the Delphi 42 lb/hr injectors but do you have a bigger fuel pump? Maybe it is time. Also, in the winter condensation in the wastegate and wastegate plumbing lines can freeze and cause over boosting. Not sure how cold it is there but if it gets below freezing watch out for that. Having said that I don't think mine has done that since I installed my boost control and vented my wastegate to the atmosphere.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the boost control you are using so I can't help out much with that.

I put a camera on it yesterday and watched it in boost. I never saw the wastegate open all the way, but I was not WOT because the boost was approaching 10 psi.
