2nd that. Any cam will work with FI. It's just a matter of picking the cam that will let you supercharger/Turbo work efficiently.

So how exactly will a cam allow a supercharger to work more effeciently?

 

The idea is that if you have a lot of overlap from say a tight lsa, you will allow the boost to blow through the cylinder for that milisecond that both valves are open. More knowledgeable people have some other criteria they go by to spec a good blower cam also. I don't happen to be one of those knowledgeable people though

 

A blower is basically a extension of cubic inches/displacement.. The more effeciently you can make the engine work the better..

 

Like joeyc125 said, a tight LSA generally means a lot of overlap and that will bleed off boost. That's one of the reasons why the Lingenfelter GT2-3 with it's 118.5 LSA is so popular for Maggie owners. The cam choice doesn't actually make the blower more efficient, it just keeps the boost from bleeding off. When people say X size pulley makes X boost, the variable is the camshaft overlap and duration.
