Default Anyone else have problems with warranty work?

Two weeks ago I found some metal flakes in the oil of my Procharger (self contained oil unit). Seeing how the Procharger was only two months old, and there were no metal flakes in the oil when I changed the oil at the 500 mile mark, I thought this was bad.

On 8-28-06 I called Procharger and as expected I was told I needed to send it in. But then I got the upsetting news, they were 3 weeks backed up on repairs. I sent the unit in and they recieved it on 9-1-06. I called on 9-7-06 and was advised it was slated to be looked at in 5 weeks, which including the week before when I got the warranty claim number makes it 6 weeks.

I am still trying to talk this over with them but so far I haven't got very far. I am hoping to beg and plead for sympathy but don't know how far I will get.

My question......

Have any other Procharger owners experienced similar problems and if so where you able to get things speeded up any?

Also, are other supercharger companies this far behind or is this just a Procharger thing?

ps...I usually post over at ChevyAvalancheFanClub.com but visit here regularly when looking for info. My wife only lets me play so much.

How long ago was that? Did you try to complain to get things speeded up?
