Default Any A/W Intercooled KBRacing setups?

I'm thinking about trying it. I'd like to see if anyone else has any routing ideas.

Shorter piping. I would imagine that would have better response. Plus I don't really like the current A/A pipe routing. It does not agree with 05+ efans, espcially if you are still using the MAF sensor like me. I can't blame the kit though, as it was built for a 4x4 and 2 bar. I think the sway bar is in a diff location too.

Lower pressure drop through A/W intercooler from what I've been reading.

I did, but his turbo is in a very different location further away from the engine. His is one of the things that inspired me to look into it. I would like to eliminate that U bend before the TB though.

a/w isn't that much more. you'll be able to use a much smaller intercooler as well, so you have more options for location.
you will need a good heat exchanger however, a good pump, hoses and filler cap.

I only made the aluminum tubing like that for the maf, it'll have a short tube for non maf

thanks,

Could you PM him, please?

Back on track. I think I found something pretty close to what I need. I think I could clock the compressor housing and it would discharge directly into the A/W core. I could relocate the BOV after. Hopefully he doesn't mind me using his good idea.
