I have a pyrometer installed in my truck right now that I used to keep track of EGT's with the turbo. Is there any reason to monitor EGT's with the supercharger?

If you're trying to get the most out of your motor, running it on the ragged edge, and you don't want to have an unscheduled rebuild, it might be a good idea. If you get a little too aggressive with boost, no matter whether it's belt driven or exhaust driven, bad things tend to occur.

Several points on this one.
EGts are good if you are watching all 8 holes, or checking for problem spots. There down fall is you can have HI egts and still be rich, and so call safe tune. AS well as hi temps from being lean and unsafe tunes.
I do like EGTs on pulling applications, becuase you can be good on air fuel but pulling a heavy load up a hill under a lots of pedal, things can start getting real hot real fast even with a blower especailly with turbo.
Air fuel shows the mixture
EGT show the temp of that mixture.
