I have a 03 Sierra it’s got a 5.3 and a btr stage 4 truck cam circle d 3200 stall 411s and a locker I’m looking at putting a Vortech super charger on it and running 6 lbs of boost and I just wasting my time and money if I don’t change my cam?

 

Nope it will run good with that cam. Just put the supercharger on and go

 

If it’s the Vortech kit with a manual tensioner it’s junk.
The blower is good but we are putting it on a belt by itself because of slippage.

 

I just installed a torqstorm supercharger on my 86 c30 6.0 80e swap and it fit great. Has its own belt set up and all the mounts were heavy. Extremely nice kit for the money. Got to get a couple pipes bead rolled and the radiator back in and we will find out what it does power wise
