Wow, that seems really high for 6psi. I ran this turbo with my 5.3L at 11psi for quite a while and I don't think I was making much more than that.

That was on a dynojet, on a loadable dyno I could have maybe made a touch more.... I am shooting for 500/500 on 9#s....

I've got a pretty crafty tuner

Do you know what your A/F and timing is set at? Was this with the converter locked or unlocked?

Remember boost is just a measure of restriction through the engine, you don't have to have big boost to make power. I ran 10.50's @4900lbs in vegas 2300' elv with only ~13psi. 6.0L, T76, hand ported 317's flow 315cfm @.550''. Truck was at least a full second slower with the T66, and unported heads at the same psi.

I assume Silver must have a good cam or good heads then. I am basing my opinion off of my setup which is a bone stock motor other than the ls6 cam.

11.4 AFR, 21degrees, stock 706 heads,stock truck intake, p&p stock tb, 224/227 .576/.588 113+3 comp cam, Xer lobes,918 springs,open cutout. 93oct fuel and a bottle of lucas fuel treatment locked converter in 3rd gear, 29.9in tires
