Default Another oil alarm issue

Just replaced my T60-1 with a brand new GT67. Also replaced my braided oil line. In high boost, my oil alarm goes off. Low boost is fine (3.5psi). I have verified that oil is spewing nice through my oil cap and the pump is working fine.

I'm about to increase the psi warning level at my oil pump hobbs switch. I don't see any indication that oiling is an actual problem. Would the GT67 cause increased line pressure that the T60-1 didn't see? Does the GT67 need to get broken in good?

If you do turn the pump screw, I would turn it all the way in 1st to see what your base from all the way in is so you can go back if need be.
I didn't and wish I had.
Your turbo has to break in yes, but I don't think the break in affects oil flow.
If it does, its slight. You may see more restriction but how much?? Don't know.

Mine started to go off after I swaped my cam. Called STS and they told me to turn the screw all the way in and then back it out a 1/2 turn. He said it would take it from a 1-2 psi switch to about a 5 psi switch. I did this and haven't had a problem since.

Turning it in another turn last night almost cleared it up. I'll give it another turn this evening.

Next issue is this GT67 rattles a little at idle when I first crank it up. It's quiet with a little rev on the engine, but rattles when it comes back to an idle. It quiets down once it's been warmed up. STS said it shouldn't rattle at all. I have a funny feeling it's gonna come out. It's brand new.

I talked to someone else that says their GT67 rattles a little too. Is this normal for those of you with the 67's?

fever, I left a message for sts about your hose. I told them it was obviously defective and should give you a new one and send that one back to whoever made it up.

Oh, the decal too.
