.. Well actually I am in the 500 hp club, but didn't snap a picture.... getting some tuning work done on the dyno - this was one of the base line pulls that was done today. Needs a LOT of cleaning up.

Last pull was 501 HP / 536 FT pounds... these were base line pulls since I swapped to a new tuner. This baseline was using Mike @ Vengeance Racing's last SD tune..... the first pull the torque converter unlocked and the trans shifted. The second pull was almost 8 to 1 FAT so we unplugged the meth and it got us up to around 10 to 1 on the third pull.

These pulls were done on a load bearing dyno.

 

That's awesome how these 4.8 are doing a killing on here what is Ur set up besides the turbo? Good number too!

It's a stock bottom end 4.8 with a stock cam and pac 1518 springs along with fix 74 lb injectors. Built 4l80 with a circle D 1c triple disk stall. The turbo is a 70mm unit which seemed to be maxed out past 5,000 as the graph started going downhill quick after that. I am also running a hefty dose of meth, but that was disconnected in the second and third pull.

 

i think the cam is reason for falling at 5000rpm.. which brand turbo..

and is that to wheels ?. its confusing cause it says engine hp..

Engine hp is estimated I'm guessing. The real numbers from the dyno (to the wheels) are on the "max power" and "max torque" lines. We also noticed the t was leaking air that went to the boost gauge and dyno gauge, so we aren't sure on boost level. MAP was saying around 14ish I believe. I didn't get too detailed on the numbers as this was just some baseline testing before this tuner gets a hold on it and cleans it up / gets it running properly with meth.

 

nice.. im runinng the magnum 76mm on 17lbs.. with cam.. pulls to 6200rpm..
let us kno how it does when its dailed in.. itll pick upo alot from good tune

 

Awesome looking hoe man, i'd rock that thing all day. Great job waking that 4.8L up, you need to buy my 02 ls6 cam and make another 75-100HP at the same boost level.
