Are you required to run a front plate in Maine?

Headers arrived after 13 weeks. Jet Hot 2000 off-road gray coated Stainless Works 1-7/8 x3" headers with GESI converters and x pipe.

Installed headers to mock up in order to figure out a good spot for a wideband bung.

Just needs a little welding.

Found a spot during mock up that could use a little clearance. Marked it.

Did a little grinding.

Now there is a mile. Picture angle looks closer than actual. Header also torques away from it on acceleration.

I found that the starter cable could stand to have a little more "air" between it and the header. So I flipped over the harness retaining clip and drilled an existing slot in the brake hose bracket and used the existing bolt, just had to add a nut.

This moves tge cable forward and I'm satisfied with clearance.

I will say the headers are darker in person. The camera/lighting throw it off on the lighter side.

Fitting the new engine oil dipstick tube. The mounting tan needed a little trimming, done primer, and then black paint.

Plugs gapped and torqued, 2ndary wires installed.

Wideband bung welded in.

Fitting lead pipes.

There was a 1.5" discrepancy with the length of the lead pipes. I'd say the passenger pipe was short but elected to cut the driver's side to match them and then in turn be able to get the X pipe slid on equally. There's some room for error between having both equally longer or equally shorter.

I had some scrap heat reflective blanket material from the stuff I trimmed for the underside of the blower tub. I used it here like a jigsaw puzzle to reflect a little heat where the driver lead pipe and converter crosses under the transmission pan.

Front driveshaft back in.
