Default Ammonia/methanol

Just curiuos, anyone ever used this combo?
I hear lots of you using straight meth(energie content/octane)
ammonia has highest heat capacity 4.6Kj/kgK,low heat value 18.646,
but it seams 170/180 octane rating ,its cheap.
I read this article that says thats the future fuel.
Just don't now how to post links.
I know its not verry healty!

I'd like to learn about this. To post a link, left click your mouse in the address bar on the address of the website you want to link. The address bar is at the top of the page. Then the address will be highlighted. Right click on it, choose "copy" in the popup menu, and left click on "copy". Come back here, post a reply, and in the body of the post (the part that you are typing in), right click your mouse. Choose "paste" in the popup menu, and left click on it. That will insert the address, or link, into your post.
Hurry.

The article is not mentioning the use as a boostcooler .
I just started to install a Snow stageIII kit,i would think you would gain alot more with the ammonia/methanol instead straight meth or water/meth.
I'am installing the 2.5 gallon tank and pump under the bed, reducing the chance of leaks under the hot engine compartment .

Ammonia is highly corrosive to aluminum. In fact, you can use it to "unstick" to aluminum parts... Ammonia pits stainless steel.

Also, bear in mind that ammonia is used as rocket fuel.
I'll pass.

What I was thinking.
Can you imagine the exhaust smell?

Where did you get the idea, then? Does the article mention mixing ammonia with methanol? I couldn't find any info on mixing the two, that's what I hoped that your link would tell us.

Ammonia by itself works as a fuel. Rocket fuel, bus fuel (during WW2), etc.

Ammonia can be produced from methanol -- don't know about mixing the two...
