Higher heat capacity than water and contains like already stated energie and high octane rating.http://www.tannerind.com/anhydrous-msds.html:to answer the question about mixing with meth. may not be such a good idee.

You have to be careful to have enough space between a link and your text. I fixed it in the above quote.

So it appears that mixing methanol and ammonia is just some wild ten-year-old kid type thought that you had?
Don't worry, we al have ideas like that. I was just fooled me into thinking it was legitimate because your first post made it sound like there was a web page somewhere that discussed mixing them, you just didn't know how to link us to it.
Anyway, when I was searching, I lost interest in straight ammonia as a fuel when I learned it has so much less BTU content than gasoline.
It's something to think about if we were to ever run out of gasoline, though.
