Just an FYI for you, I talked to Joe at Leftcost32 extensively the other day about this and he said for a DD, these TVS1900 love compression! Just look at Bills truck. Joe puts them (the Maggie's of course)on a lot of GTO's and TBSS's with LS2 and 3's that are around 11 to 1 and they love it! Tune them right, he likes small pulley's and tunes them to about 580rwhp and they make awesome DD's. My next FI motor will be a 10+ comp motor with about 10-12 psi for a DD and will be a blast!

I was thinking about buying HPT and a O2 with my tax money, but I would need someone to give me a starter tune cause I don't know ****.

I have a tvs1900 on my LS2 trailblazer. It definitely runs great and does like the higher compression. I swapped to a smaller pulley last fall and really haven't had any issues with knock or detonation. I'll be watching how it responds in the Texas summer heat.

The way I figure the OP's static compression (assuming stock head gasket and short block) will be in the 10.6-10.7:1 range. I don't know the first thing about an FI engine so I couldn't tell you if that is good or not.
