i want to go that route again, but do u think im pushing it at 13psi on a 5.3, i also have the dual meth nozzles with an extra one,(3rd nozzle) so my iats shouldnt go to high,

Timing below 15 degrees makes your EGTs go off the scale and promote detonation, You can cover it up with a real rich mixture but what you have to understand is that the fuel quality is one of the most biggest factors. In a perfect world everyone would run C16 race gas 20 degrees of timing and a ton of boost. I would set the timing around 15-16 degrees and run as much boost as your fuel will allow and call it good. High EGTs on a LS2 will butt the top ring gap and pop the top of the piston off, with no signs of detonation at all. If you plan on running timing below 15 deg you had better put a EGT gauge in and try to keep it under 1600 degrees. Pistons and cats melt in the 1700 degree area.
