Default 90mm worth it

Ok so mods are in sig, Would installing a 90mm TB on my truck right now be worth it. I already have the j-tube so I only need the DRx harness and the TB which would probably only run about $400. Will I see many gains or will the stock exhaust manifolds be my restriction. I do plan on installing LTs at some point but money is tight to do the exaust right now.

Ya...it"ll be worth it...IMO u cud prob do without the DrX gizmo if u get one of the newer TB's (not sure tho). I dont know how much u really leave on the table with it in actual fact anyway. That said ull def see a diff with the 90mm.

so your saying that the 87mm TB from a NNBS might work without the drx harness?? if so that would be nice.

I don't think you'd see much improvement the way you're set up right now. Spend the money on the exhaust. Then maybe a boost cooler. Then maybe a smaller snout pulley. Then maybe a bigger blower. And then...........

The truck and car style 90/87mm TBs both operate in the same manner. Neither one will work unless you correct the TPS signals. Most people are already using the truck style TB on their conversions.
