No 2 bar tune here... Yet

The MAF is maxed out my 5800rpm. I am going to do a true 4" cold air intake system, remove the MAF, and have a 2 bar tune done. Then go from there.

Hmm, the intake sounds interesting.

Jason,
I'm glad it worked out for you.
Can't wait to see her run.

Looks good. What blots and gasket did you use to mount it up?

Still looking for those to complete my conversion. Thanks

Late on board here.

Jason, was it "necessary" to eliminate the EGR, or did you do that for performance or ease of install? Can the EGR be retained? Did you use the UMI TB as preference...can other 90mm TBs be used instead (already have a Nick Williams on the GTO and will be changing to a Holley for hood clearance reasons)?

I eliminated the EGR because the j-tube did not have provisions for it. In order the for the EGR to be retained, the throttle body flange would need to hava a hole for it to screw into.

However, you can do what some have done and just modify the current j-tube opening out to 90mm and retain the EGR. You will also have to redrill the flange to accept a 4 bolt throttle body and use a j bolt.

Here is how Justin did it;

And BigTex;

Any 90mm throttle body can be used. I used the UMI because I heard it was the best one for the cale operated throttle bodies.

Good luck man.
