Don't know anything about flow of different design TB's. I will agree that it is a big hole. Wish it opened all the way.

I have been traveling so much I just ordered the gasket stuff off the net. Only place I found shipped it from CA. A tube wound up costing me $41 There are a couple Car Quests in Lexington and Nicholasville also. Called them and they didn't have it in stock.

I hang out at Parkette every once in a while. Hard to get away from the house.

I will be watching your results. Also if you could comment on any driveability differences between the two TB's that would be great.

Good luck.

Just got back. Only made 2 passes. 1st 12.603@ 104.747 run a little later in the evening 12.592@104.412. Gained little bit everywhere. Course it was a bit cooler tonite than my previous best runs. Pulled my best 60 ft. A 1.808, and broke into the 7's for the 1/8.

No driveability issues at all. Feels great. Some stated that throttle response suffered. Mine feels great. Feels better everywhere. Feels like I picked up some serious torque. Did gain a solid 1lb of boost. Hits solid 10psi now. Cruise manifold vacuum dropped from 12 inches to 10. Didn't log anything tonight to see the IAT's. I'm liking it a lot so far.

Can I get a better look at that Speartech wiring adapter?

I want to see the end that plugs into your truck harness and, your actual truck harness. My TB only has 2 pins and I hear some have 6/8 pins.
If its 0* outside, don't worry about it.

Sounds like you need something like this(not sure if it has the correct connectors). Just Google "LS2 throttle adapter harness". I'm guessing you have a total of 6 wires though if the 02 TB operates the same as the LS2 TB.

edit:
Looks like a total of 8 wires. It's just that the sensor signals move in opposite directions on the 02 trucks. Which is the similarity to the LS2 TB. So the harness shown makes sense.

The clip in the top left looks correct to plug intot he 90MM and the clip on the bottom right looks like the clip for my current TB. I don't know what thay other clip (top right) is for. Maybe the TAC which I don't need?

The 6 pin connector is supposed to mate with this one that plugs into your throttle position sensor:
