This is central Ky we are talking about here Hell we just got indoor plumbing during the last decade. There might be a Carquest within a 100 miles or so. Thanks I'll look them up.

I've got some Permatex high temp stuff. Found some Loctite 468 or something along those lines. Looks like its for oil pans though. Guess I am being **** now and could use something else but want it to work guaranteed. I hate redoing things.

Thanks

Cool

Like NXRICKY said make sure the sealant you use is safe for O2 sensors. The sensors are sensitive to silicone contamination and it can ruin them.

It's called "Anerobic Gasket Maker" from Permatex. It's a blue tube with item # 5187. Hope this helps!

Yeah this is the Permatex stuff I bought before finding the magnacharger recommended Loctite 510.

I have finally found an internet site for it and have 510 on the way also. www.rshughes.com for sake of those that might want it.

Thanks everyone! Now if everything comes in this week like it should I will be putting it on this weekend. GMPartsdirect is in this equation and they aren't always up to the task so we will see .

I am documenting about all mods. Might do a webpage sometime. I know these have all been posted before. Here is a complete part picture with the exception of the gasket and possibly not the most perfect gasket maker choice.

One job of that coolant line is to help get air locks out of the cooling system. I don't think you should block it.
