There are ususally some LS3's on ebay for $200 "buy it now." I have seen them go for around $150 in the auction. Should be able to get a truck style 87mm for less, even from online parts places. But the car style 90mm's are a little nicer(LS2/LS7/LS3).

Dr.X, I was doing some looking around at the TB that I bought and #12605109 is for 09.5 and up. I have looked at other people with factory 90mm TB(09 and down) trying to switch to this TB and it wouldnt work. Will this be a problem with my truck?

Actually, that LS3 TB would likely work fine on a 07+ truck or a TBSS originally equipped with the 87mm TB. But not on a car originally equipped with the 12570790 90mm.

Any 90mm will work on your 06 with an X-Link.

BTW....Just Googled GM 12605109 and found some pretty decent prices on these LS3 TBs. Looks like they are going for only about $20 more than the truck style/TBSS 87mm TB.
