You know, 99% of the time, it's not the tune.
Any good tuner out there can vouch for that.
As he mentioned above, it was live tuned, that means timing is where it should be and a/f ratio according to my wb was tuned correctly.
Nothing against you either, but that is a bold statement to know nothing about the truck or tune, and say, you're confident it's the tune.
Just an fyi, keep in mind he's using a damn gauge for his 1/4 mile results. not saying a gauge can't be accurate, however, there are many variables that can throw them off.
Not to mention, most of a good 1/4 mile time is in the launch.
i say quite worrying about it and take it to the track. If you're anywhere near us, and wanna meet at sar, lmk when and I've been known to meet customers out there and tune.
There are a lot of dyno queens on the forum that don't lay the numbers down at the track, and vice versa.
It takes a lot to get a truck to perform the way you want.
A truck can run great on the street, but it takes a good combination to show off at the track.
lmk when you're heading out there,

my gear ratio is 3.42 for who previously asked

amarillo elevation definatly isnt going to help your times nor your gearing.. you need a steeper gearing with that 4L80e.
adding some 28" tall slicks will give you some gearing but I think you need 3.73 or 4.10 gearing at a minimum and elevation under 1000ft to break into the 12's

I'm with allen on this one. If he lived tuned it (safe), there is probably a little more in it, but not enough to warrent the liability.
This whole topic is a waste until the OP gets it on real timers anyway. If it is as slow as it says it is, I'd double check the tune, but its likely somewhere else in the combo as it should be way faster than that. My .02
