Does elevation rob a lot of power? Maybe since my tune was set up in San Antonio, and I'm running it in Lubbock (huge difference in elevation) It's not running 100%

My truck was tuned in San Antonio ----elevation around 650 ft

I've been running it in Lubbock ------- elevation around 3,256 feet

I couldn't get in contact with the guy that was going to run some data logs on it this weekend.. so that still isn't an option to look at

Going from Odessa to San Antonio I always have to richen up the tune to stay at the same afr, so you could easily go richer going the other way around.

Do you have a WBO2 hooked up to your Aeroforce?

Elevation is not helping.

Your Gearing is for a 4L80E. You need to go to 4.10's just to break even after an 80E swap. 80E's are power sucking turds. I say put your other cam back in, and do a gear swap and you will feel the difference.

Until you get to a track with a timer, I'm not going to comment on your runs. Aeroforce is a cool toy but I wouldn't put much faith in its 1/4 mile accuracy. Mine tells me I'm making 300lb/ft at a red light sometimes.

yeah I have wideband on the aeroforce, gears prob won't be able to be done for a while.. I got the converter to help with the 80e thinking that would solve everything.. I also still have the stock cam in it, never been changed

I raced last night, we used a timer (not the aeroforce gauge) and that was showing me doing a 9 second 1/8th (still not an official 100% correct time, but it shows the aeroforce isn't complete bs). Going to Amarillo this weekend hopefully, get some time slips

My truck was basically the same as yours 04 5.3 RCSB except it had a STS kit with a 67 turbo. It had a built 4l80 with a 2800 stall. It also had 3.73's and a eaton locker, 8.1 Marine injectors, same fuel pump as you, front mount IC, No efans, no meth, 93 pump gas, and still had the MAF. The truck made 504 rwhp 555 ft/lbs at 12.3 psi on a very safe tune with the A/F's at 10.8-11.1 with only 14.5 degrees of timing at WOT. I was out of injector at that point so we stopped. And from watching your vids your truck isnt even spinning the tires. My truck you could hit from like a 5 mph roll and at the top of first it would blow the tires off it, continue doing that into 2nd with 295/45/20's on it. And from a roll I have outran multiple high 7 second 1/8th cars. Elevation takes alot of power away, but not as much as you are losing. Have you dyno'd the truck to see what its making?

Oh yea it also had 94,xxx miles on it with the stock cam and valve springs. I was going to put new springs on it and it probably would have picked up atleast 20 or so more hp from getting rid of the weak stock springs.

When I was first starting out, mine ran an 8.21 with an sts gt67 at 8-8.5 lbs. That was in warm weather. I was cutting 1.7x's 60'. Imo I think it mostly your 60' but elevation as well because your mph is low too. In 44 deg temps. at 800 or so DA and a 1.695 60' I got the 7.64...5000lbs of fun on 275/55/20's without nos. Thought it had a 7.49 in it but only got to make one pass that night

When I was in Andrews I could tell a big difference in power from the Houston area, its a 3000+ foot elevation difference
