It definitely sounds like something is bending when you put it under load. I was thinking it may be the blower pulley or idler you spaced out, but if its the tensioner then that's actually an easier fix (just spend money).

I will call magnuson and see how much they get for one! Does anyone know of one that autozone or Napa can get for me? Just like the fact to be able to return it if it doesn't solve my issue and has a warranty on it haha

Do you or anyone you know have a GoPro? It might be worth watching it under full load and particularly on deceleration. If you can get some video of it during wide open throttle shifts I'm going to bet you see the belt go slack on the upshifts and it jumps at that moment. If that's happening the only real solution with this type of belt geometry is a much stronger tensioner.

Maybe over looked............did you calibrate the laser alignment tool to make sure it is shooting straight? I'm not talking about using that stupid piece of paper it comes with, I'm talking about a legit test to see if it is shooting straight. Everytime before I use mine, I shoot a line about 6' long to make sure it is good.

Blown, I didn't try that... I just used the paper it came with haha. But I got the new tensioner today from magnuson and man is it a big improvement over my old one this one is very stiff hard to push it down far enough for the belt to get on it in the stiffest setting. But nothing is ever easy... It's about 2 ribs off so I have to space it out towards the rad. I am gunna use fender washers I guess and then have to press out the stud and get a longer one to press in so its fully seated when I space it out and tighten it down. Has any of you guys had this issue too? Just seems like all of my 8 rib setup has been a nightmare and driving me insane! Thanks!

At least you have a Maggie and people actually make 8 rib stuff for it, try doing it with a whipple
After all the crap ive been through I should've just gone straight to 10 rib

haha that is true... But after all this headache I should have left it at 8psi and 6 rib... At least I could drive it then. Since I did this 8 rib I have maybe 200 miles on it. And that was 2 months ago... And those 200 miles have been nothing but issues. Rip on it and it throws a belt!
