Parts are piling up.

Im getting pretty excited. Everything I have taken apart looks great. Cam, pistons, bearings, heads... everything. Saturday will be a block cleaning day and maybe even filing the rings, scrub the pistons and put the short block back together. No hurry no worry.

is 600 wheel a realistic goal? 93 pump with a basic rebuild and triple 12?

I hope you get there. I have the exact mods you have on 91, and only made 450/480. I'm making a 7 hour drive to see a new tuner as soon as I finish rebuilding the 6l80. Hopefully he can improve it.

Sounds good. I bet out setups could make more on full tilt but ive been very happy with the results of what I have done already.

Yes. Will depend on boost psi and maybe a turbo swap.

The new tuner is Shane hinds. He offered to do mail order but I would rather put it on the dyno. And I don't have the special cable for mail order tune

Motor was torn down and looked great. All the bearings looked ok, the block cleaned up well, I used simple green and a wire brush. Gadgetized checked/filed the rings and "trued" the decks with a neat trick. The hone was a little scary at first but it worked great once I broke it in and got the throttle under control.

Ill scrub the pistons down, order up my new main, rod and cam bearings then start slapping this baby together. All my parts, except the cam, have showed up. Heads should be done next week.

The board is set, pieces are moving.
