Keep the turbo as small as possible to reach your power goal.

600 rwhp should be easily achievable with the right 66-70 mm turbo

You my friend are a dream killer. I have a 12 sec truck but at least it sounds like a monster. I'm that guy that leaves a light side by side with you trying my hardest to keep the turbo in the sweet spot so its defining in your ear. Then at the last moment a little throttle dump and some compressor surge. lol

I dont know. lol. I dont see it on my youtube page. I had a nice one showing the difference between the full exhaust and open dump on the two step but its gone. Ill make another one when I get it back together.

Heres a vid where you kinda hear it. The diesel I was racing was stupid loud but when I bring the rpms up at the line, you can kinda hear my truck.

in car audio

Motor is out, tore down to the short block. All the parts are in my garage or on their way.

Need to disassemble the engine
clean everything
bore hone
gap the rings
etc

I am able to rotate/move/slap the pistons in the cyls. As in up and down as the piston is TDC. Is that common or OK?

How many sensors/gaskets do you guys change while this far into a rebuild.

sensors - crank sensor, knock sensors, coolant temp....

gaskets - oil pan gasket, intake manifold, oil pressure port...

Should I replace the ones that are beat up a bit or just replace everything?

I didn't change any sensors. Only gaskets replaced were water pump and front cover. Since you have it all apart I would do as many as you can. I am definitely doing exhaust manifold when I do the turbo.
