No doubt a one peice can perform just as good as a two peice if not better. The Only reason a drive shaft will vibrate is if it isn't balanced correctly or has been tweeked slightly from abuse (Heavy Truck Launches.... Ello!) Not all aftermarket driveshafts are equal either. I went through two cheaper aftermarket shafts on my TT300ZX before dishing out for a highend one that solved the vibration problems.

my 2 cents....

the drive shaft upgrade is a must at that power. i upgraded to a single but much stronger driveshaft from texas drive shaft specialist. they upgraded the end caps to match the huge 6l90 slip yoke. i have had it over 130 on street and many times on dyno and it will not break (im at 620rwhp). i dont think there is any debate as to the stock one piece will break sooner or later ....

lowering and flip kits, will hurt the launching..i have a bell tech 3/6 with flip kit and it has created plenty of wheel hop. traction bars like the cal tracs (made for flip kits) solve that issue

transmissions...will my 6l80 was toast after 2 weeks of driving with 10lbs boost at 620rwhp. lost all gears one day except 1st and 2cd. put in a 6l90, had drive shaft reworked, go the right slip yoke (34 spline) and had to custom adjust the trans mount...been going strong for months..6l90 is a beast!!
