6.2 turbo build

I'm sorry but I have to laugh everytime I read about the 2 Piece Driveshaft upgrade. I had my truck above 120mph probably over 50 times since my turbo install last year. I love that all this critical rpm and top speed info is coming from companies that are trying to sell there driveshafts. If it helps you guys sleep better at night then do it. But I'm not a firm believer in this so called upgrade. Police issue GMT900 trucks go 120+ mph from the factory and come with 1 piece driveshafts that are no different then ours. If GM would have thought it was a problem then they all would come with 2 piece ones. Good luck with the truck I'm sure it will be a Beast when your done.

You probably right . But at 800 rwhp and 125 in the quarter. I don't think so. Plus Ive got customer who have broken the oem aluminum shaft with less. Plus I like to roll and race and 135 plus worry me.

Good tune or not. I don't think it will last long with 800rwhp in a heavy truck like ours. I'm sure you will be very traction limited, it might be your only saving grace for a short time.
Lowered trucks always mess up their driveline angles when they drop them to far. All I did to mine was remove the 1 inch block from the rear springs. Drives a 120+ mph with no vibration.

Traction is on my list to fix.. Slick will help alot. I was running DR on stock suspension a it was ok. I hope sent I'm using stock front springs and a flip kit in rear, plus race shocks. It will hook up ok.. I'm not looking for a race truck just something to surprise people. This engine is going in and S10 later.
