I dont want to spend the money on a tune with the 3.0 if it isnt enough for a 6.0. Okie5.3 has a 2.8 runs 7.5psi that seems really low! What can i expect with the 3.0? I wanting to run a safe 8-10.....
Boost, with any size pulley, is going to depend how the motor is set up...intake, cam, heads, exhaust. I saw 9psi with MP122 and 2.6" pulley. The motor had ported heads, mild blower cam, and LT headers.

Stock motor. Stock heads. Stock Cam with the below listed mods.... was it a lq4 or lq9? Heard a lq9 will net an addition lb of boost.

If you're all stock I think the 3.0 might be a little bit much. Why not try the 3.2? Or even throw on a set of longtubes?

It was an LQ4 with 243 heads. I'm guessing the resulting c/r was similar to an LQ9. I'm wondering why a little more c/r would result in a 1 lb. boost increase.

FWIW, my LQ4 w/ mp112, 3.0" pulley, shorty headers, and Magnaflow exhaust makes about 7 psi.

The truck is not stock by any means... the internals are stock mods in signature. Is anyone running a 2.75 or 2.60 on a 6.0l. Is this spinning a radix too fast and too hot?
